Trinity junior goalie Nathaniel Heilbron had a stellar weekend (Feb 6 & 7) between the pipes, recording a .972 save percentage and a 1.00 goals-against average as Trinity went 2-0 in conference play to be selected as NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week.

KNAPP NAMED CCM ECHL GOALTENDER OF THE WEEK

Connor Knapp of the Reading Royals is the CCM ECHL Goaltender of the Week for Jan. 26-Feb. 1. It is the second time in his career that Knapp has won the weekly honor.

Knapp went 2-0-0 with a 2.00 goals-against average and a save percentage of .929 last week, helping the Royals extend their winning streak to seven games.

Goaltender Nathaniel Heilbron #34, a Junior with Trinity College NCAA Div III has been seeing lots of action this season leading Trinity to a # 4 Ranking in the current USCHO Poll (Jan 26/15).  Trinity (Bantams) started the season ranked #12 and with their play thru 16 games have 14 – 1 – 1 record and are currently on a 10 game wining streak. Heilbron has lead the team in games played with 12 games  and has a record of 10 – 1 – 1 with a Save% of .930 and 2.04 GAA.

Delta Wild Elite 15’s capture 4th Major Hockey Tournament bringing home Gold for the John Reid Memorial Bantam AAA 2015.  Delta went unbeaten during Round Robin Play Full Results Here , beating BC’s Power House Team North Shore Winter Club in the Semi-Finals 6-3 to advance to the Final vs Calgary NWCAA Flames with a final score of 2-1.

Both Goalies stood tall all tournament with Maguire Houlind ’00 – being named Top Goalie of the Tournament and being named to the Reid Pool All Star Team as well – Houlind will be a Top Prospect for the 2015  WHL Bantam. Along with 1st Year Goalie Boston Bilious  ’01 who will be one of the Top Goalies for the 2016 WHL Bantam draft

Congratulations to the Langley Bantam A1’s  and Goalie Brayden Ehrhardt

The Langley Eagles have captured the Burnaby Holiday Classic Tournament Championship with a 6-3 victory over the Coquitlam Chiefs yesterday.  The Eagles finished 4th in their pool with a 1-1-1 record but knocked off the 3-0-1 and top ranked Vancouver Spirit in the quarter-finals and then later that day, defeating the Seafair Islanders 2-1, scoring a goal in the 3rd to take the win.  Then in the final, the Eagles would build up 3-0 and 5-2 leads by the periods and go on to the easy 6-3 victory.

Rolf and Klassen Backstop Team to Gold in Kamloops

Congratualtions to Goalies Alex Rolf and Jared Klassen and  their Langley Bantam A2 team.  The Langley Team brought home Gold from the  Kamloops Todd Campbell Memorial Tournament November 15-16th, 2014.  The team won all 6 games to win the tournament, including 3 shut out wins .   Goalie Alex Rolfe was named Tournament MVP chosen by the family of Todd Campbell.

Nanaimo Bantams Win Gold Richmond International Bantam Midget Tournament

Goalie Jaden Little backstopped the Nanaimo Clippers Bantam A1’s to Gold at the Richmond International Bantam Midget Tournament over the Holidays.  Goalie Jaden Little played all 60 minutes for the Clippers in the gold medal game to backstop his team to victory.
